Am Welt AIDS Tag vom 1. Dezember 2015 wurde die Trinkwasseranlage im Spital von Maragua (Kenia) in Betrieb genommen.On World AIDS Day on December 1, 2015 the drinking water treatment plant in the Hospital from Maragua (Kenya) was put into operation.

Maragua ist eine Stadt mit knapp 31’000 Einwohnern im Hochland (1350 m) von Kenia und 75 km ausserhalb von Nairobi. Rund um Maragua wird hauptsächlich Kaffee angebaut.

Maragua is a city with nearly 31,000 inhabitants in the highlands (1350 m) of Kenya and 75 km outside Nairobi.  Around Maragua mainly coffee is grown.

Zusammen mit der Organisation Vihda  hat aqua pura im Spital von Maragua ein Trinkwasserprojekt realisiert. Vihda ist eine in Spanien und Kenia registrierte Non-Profit-Organisation.

Together with the organization Vihda aqua pura has implemented a drinking water project in the hospital of Maragua. Vihda is registered in Spain and Kenya as a non profit organization.

Das ganze Trinkwasserprojekt im Spital Maragua wurde von Dr. Victorio Torres als Projektleiter realisiert. Victorio Torres ist der Gründer, Präsident von Vihda Spanien und CEO bei Vihda Kenia . Victorio ist Arzt  für Kinderheilkunde und seit 14 Jahren spezialisiert bei der Bekämpfung von AIDS in Afrika im Bereich Mutter und Kindergesundheit. Im Maragua Krankenhaus leitet er das Betreuungsangebot für HIV infizierte schwangere Frauen und nach der Geburt ihre Babys.

The drinking water project in the hospital Maragua was implemented by Dr. Victorio Torres as a project manager. Victorio Torres is the founder, the president of Vihda Spain and CEO of Vihda Kenya. Victorio is physician for paediatrics and for 14 years specializing in the fight against AIDS in Africa in the area of mother and child health. In Maragua hospital he directs the care services for HIV-infected pregnant women and their babies after birth.

Aus dem Fluss wird das schmutzige Wasser in die Tanks gepumpt. From the river the dirty water is pumped into the tanks.

 

Hinter dieser Metalltüre wurde das ganze aqua pura Filtersystem installiert. Behind this metal door the whole aqua pura filter system was installed.

Durch dieses Waterflowsystem von aqua pura fliesst jetzt 700 Liter/ Stunde sauberes bakterienfreies Trinkwasser. Through this system of aqua pura Waterflow now flows 700 liters/hour clean bacteria-free drinking water.

Die Wasseranalyse zeigt, dass das Trinkwasser absolut  Cholera, E.coli und Salmonellen frei ist.The water analysis shows that the drinking water is absolutely cholera, E.coli and salmonella free.

Am 1. Dezember 2015 wurde die Trinkwasseranlage durch den spanischer Botschafter zusammen mit dem Direktor des Spitales eingeweiht. On  December 1, 2015 the drinking water system was inaugurated by the Ambassador of Spain, together with the Director of the Hospital.

Aus der zweiten Wasserstation fliesst jetzt perfekt sauberes Trinkwasser. From the second water station now flows perfect clean drinking water.

Hier die Aussage von Victorio: Die Auswirkungen der Brunnen ist erstaunlich, bei jedem der zwei Brunnen , so  denkt er, trinken mehr als 1000 Menschen pro Tag sauberes Wasser. 

Here the statement from Victorio : It’s amazing the impact of the fountains, in each of the two fountains, so he think, drinking  more than 1000 people per day of clean water.
